Sometimes I wish I was one who was good with my words; One who could say what my heart feels so that you could truly understand the couple I’m introducing to you today.
First, here is a brief glance into Elizabeth. The first time I was able to meet her was actually the day she was going dress shopping. We arranged for a phone call that day since she was going to be traveling. We talked about how exciting it was to hopefully find THE dress today, and I asked where she was traveling to shop. When she shared that she was on her way to Lynchburg, I was floored! I was so excited to have the chance to meet her and what an honor it was to not only meet her but to see her trying on wedding dresses. I mean… what photographer has a chance to do that! We immediately connected and what a blessing it has been to share this incredible time in her life.
So May 20th finally arrived, and I traveled to Cape Charles to the beautiful venue of Mimosa Farm where the rehearsal and ceremony were taking place. I was finally able to meet the groom to be, Matt, and he was hands down a perfect match for Elizabeth! They compliment one another perfectly. It was a blessing to see the two of them together, about to begin their lives as one.
The morning began with a downpour of rain, but we were not losing hope for the rain to stop….. and it did – just in time for the ceremony to begin. It turned out to be an incredible day with incredible people. Family and friends gathered to celebrate Matt and Elizabeth’s union and the celebrating began! I was extremely blessed and honored to be a part of such an amazing day. Thank you and hugs to you both as you begin your lives together.
P.S. The details and the flowers you will see might make your heart skip a beat. They are to die for! Elizabeth’s mom did all the flowers 🙂 She is one talented lady!
