The wait is finally over for these two. It was over 18 months ago that Evan first contacted me. We chatted on the phone a long time about her wedding details and her wedding dreams as her wedding seemed so far away and just like that Evan and Erik have been married a week tomorrow.
Their relationship was mostly long distance as Erik served in our military in the U. S. Marines. Thank you, Erik and Dan, for your time and sacrifice for our country! Side note- Dan was his groomsman. :)
For a summer wedding, we were blessed with cooler than normal temperatures and humidity. It was a lovely day to get married. Irvine Estate, located on a breathtaking mountain top just on the outskirts of Lexington, Va was the place where Evan and Erik said: " I DO". The mountain view that served as the backdrop to their beautiful ceremony was nothing short of amazing.
To say the least, the day could not have turned out better. They were surrounded by their closest of family and their best of friends to celebrate their marriage. Even though my time with Evan and Erik was short their love for one another told me a great deal. That they will weather any storm that comes their way on this journey they are on together. They adore each other and I adore them. They are so sweet and kind. I thank you, both for having been your wedding photographer to document your day. You both are such a beautiful couple I hope that maybe one day our paths cross again!
